CAD Designer / Project Coordinator / Interior Designer

M.B. Designs is a full-service residential design-build company combining interior design, construction coordination, project management, and finish material sourcing under one roof. From our 8,600 sq. ft. showroom, we guide clients through projects from concept to completion with a collaborative, hands-on approach.

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented team member who wants real involvement in residential design projects — including drafting, selections, purchasing, project coordination, and social media content.

Full-Time | Monday–Thursday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm | 3-Day Weekends Every Week

Responsibilities

• Create floor plans, cabinet layouts, specification drawings, and 3D renderings
• Assist with project coordination, purchasing, and material tracking
• Prepare work orders, presentations, and project documentation
• Coordinate schedules, installations, and vendor communication
• Contribute to company social media content
• Support showroom and warehouse operations

Qualifications

• Experience with Chief Architect & AutoCAD (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bonus skills: Xactimate, SketchUp, Canva, QuickBooks, or JobTread is a plus
• Residential construction knowledge preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask in a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Forklift certification required (company-paid training & renewals)
• Pre-employment screening required (background check, drug test, personality test)
