Cad Detailer/Designer

Role Description
This is a part time, consulting to potential full-time on-site role for a CAD Detailer/Designer mainly for Joist & Deck , located in North Andover, MA. The CAD Detailer/Designer will be responsible for creating detailed CAD drawings of joist and deck systems, collaborating with architects and engineers, and ensuring all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. Daily tasks include drafting, reviewing blueprints, performing material takeoffs, Joist and deck detail drawings, bill of materials & delivery coordination for our projects.

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented individual is a must!!
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD , possibly Revit as well
• Strong understanding of joist and deck systems and structural design principles
• Experience with blueprint reading and construction documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers
• Prior experience in structural steel/ joist & deck detailing is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per hour
