CAD Draftsman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will transform conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings and detailed plans that drive construction, interior design, mechanical systems, and graphic projects forward. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software will be essential in creating accurate schematics, system designs, and visual representations that meet project specifications and client expectations. Duties

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project managers to translate concepts into technical schematics and system designs.
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details that adhere to project requirements.
• Assist in creating visualizations through 2D animation and graphic design techniques for presentations and client reviews.
• Support the development of mechanical designs and system layouts for various engineering disciplines.
• Review and modify drawings based on feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy retrieval during project phases.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman or similar role within architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
• Proficiency in multiple CAD software platforms including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, SolidWorks, and 3ds Max.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and technical drawing conventions across disciplines such as mechanical design, interior design, system design, and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with schematic development for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Experience creating detailed schematics for complex projects involving graphic design or 2D animation is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical specifications accurately.
