CAD Draftsman – Events & Exhibitions

Job Summary:

The CAD Draftsman will be responsible for developing detailed 2D CAD drawings, layouts, and design plans for events, exhibitions, and temporary structures. Working closely with the design, production, and operations teams, the role ensures that all drawings meet creative and technical requirements for successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate 2D CAD drawings, including event layouts, stage designs, structures, and site plans.
• Translate creative concepts and client briefs into detailed technical drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs.
• Maintain and update drawing libraries, templates, and documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with safety, venue, and technical specifications.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
• Assist in creating visual presentations or renders when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman in the events, exhibitions, or fit-out industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of SketchUp, or 3ds Max is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret design plans, site layouts, and structural drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• English language is a must
