Overview - We're looking for a CAD designer to support our product and product technical documentation needs - Large Scale Solar PV, Battery Storage, and advanced power plant control.

Position Overview – In concert with our manufacturing team, this position is responsible for documenting new products and project specific technical details in CAD to support mechanical, electrical, and communications diagrams.

Job Responsibilities – Include, but are not limited to:

· Participate in weekly production planning meetings to align scheduling priorities.

· Prepare CAD documentation to support industrial control panel mechanical and electrical drawings.

· Develop CAD packages that utilize dynamic blocks for easy configuration and reuse of standard products.

· Compile drawing packages that contain multiple products for complex project deliveries.

· Review edits to drawing packages and communicate changes to manufacturing and product development departments. Turn around edits and final drawing packages to customers when projects are completed in a timely manner.

· Manage drawing processes and versions with customer to ensure accuracy and follow through to completion.

· Continue to build in automation into drawings whenever possible.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree required and 1 year relevant experience

· Required - Proficient communicator via phone, TXT, and email

· Required - Creating technical documents using MS Office (or equivalent) software products.

· Required – Knowledge of how to read mechanical and electrical drawings

· Required – AutoCAD dynamic blocks, sheet sets, and general drafting experience

· Preferred – project management experience, organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
