Design and develop exterior body components or body-in-white (BIW) using CAD software, supporting the product development process from concept to release.</p><p>
Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
3D/2D design of exterior parts (e.g. doors, hoods, fenders) using Catia v5/v6.</li><li>
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers</li><li>
Support prototype builds and design validation</li><li>
Ensure manufacturability and compliance with regulations</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Expertise with CATIA V6 and V5</li><li>
Ability to perform packaging studies</li><li>
Provide media for engineering presentations</li><li>
Incorporate CAD into the OEM systems</li><li>
Proficient ability to read, speak, and understand English</li><li>
Take direction from the OEM Engineering to modify components for engineering/design/safety requirements</li><li>
Extensive Experience in design of sheet metal components and assemblies</li></ul></div>
