Responsibilities:
Our newest opportunity is for talented CAD/GIS Technician to join our award-winning team based in Doha, Qatar.
We envisage success in this role to include;
Prepare, edit, and maintain CAD drawings and GIS maps for infrastructure projects, including drainage systems, roadworks, and utility networks.
Interpret as-built drawings, maps, graphs, and aerial imagery to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
Create 2D and 3D visualizations or progress presentations as directed by project engineers.
Use AutoCAD and related drafting tools to develop technical drawings and detailed layouts for civil infrastructure projects.
Perform clash analysis and prepare combined/interface layout drawings for underground services, road structures, and utility corridors.
Convert, import, and export data between CAD, GIS, and other platforms to support design workflows and data management.
Support the development and use of GIS web mapping applications for project monitoring, design coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Collaborate with engineers, planners, and survey teams to integrate field data, maintain geospatial databases, and support project planning.
Ensure all drawings, maps, and data outputs adhere to relevant engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and more than 10 years of experience in a similar position.
Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

Proven experience as a CAD/GIS Technician.
