CAD Jewelry Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented CAD Jewelry Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating conceptual jewelry designs into detailed digital models, utilizing advanced CAD software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative jewelry collections, combining artistic vision with technical expertise. The CAD Jewelry Designer will collaborate closely with product development, manufacturing teams to bring designs from concept to production, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of jewelry pieces using CAD software.
• Collaborate with the product lifecycle management team to ensure designs meet production specifications and deadlines.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator for mood boards, presentations, and visualizations.
• Assist in the development of prototypes and sample pieces for review and testing.
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation throughout the design process.
• Show initiative with creative ideas and have follow through in each project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CAD software specific to jewelry design or related fields.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management processes.
• Knowledge of design principles
• Skills in illustration, graphic design, color theory, are highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $23.52 - $28.32 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
