Your key duties

We’re seeking a Senior CAD Technician (Digital Infrastructure) to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering digital infrastructure excellence across multidisciplinary projects. You’ll support telecommunications, fiber optic networks, ICT ducting, and related dry-utilities design through precise and coordinated CAD and Civil 3D outputs. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our infrastructure delivery, shaping the built environment with technical excellence and collaborative innovation.

• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for telecom and ICT utility layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Translate engineering sketches and design inputs into accurate technical drawings—plans, sections, profiles, and construction documentation.
• Develop utility corridor layouts and cross-sections that integrate seamlessly with water, sewer, power, road alignments, and other civil infrastructure.
• Identify and flag potential clashes or policy deviations, coordinating resolution with engineering and BIM teams.
• Ensure compliance with CAD standards, company protocols, and local authority requirements; maintain version control and structured project documentation.
• Collaborate with design engineers, BIM specialists, and utility coordinators to refine and optimize technical outputs and issue accurate IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings.
• Self-review and quality-check all deliverables for clarity, accuracy, and completeness before submission.

Your skills and experience

• A Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid experience in dry-utilities infrastructure design—especially telecom, ICT, and fiber-optics networks.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including utility profiling capabilities.
• Strong working knowledge of digital infrastructure standards, best practices, and design coordination workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail, adept at managing multiple technical drawing deliverables across large-scale projects.
• Effective at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines; excellent organizational and communication skills.
