CAD Technician/Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and innovative technical drawings, 3D models, and schematics for a variety of projects including architectural, mechanical, and system designs. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Create accurate schematics, construction drawings, interior designs, and mechanical components aligned with project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design requirements and produce comprehensive CAD drafts.
• Utilize graphic design skills to enhance visual presentations of design concepts.
• Assist in system design and layout planning for construction projects.
• Apply drafting standards and best practices to ensure clarity and precision in all drawings.
• Support revisions based on client feedback or project updates while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and software updates to continuously improve design efficiency.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of Schematics, Drafting techniques, System Design, Construction documentation, Interior Design principles, Mechanical Design processes.
• Experience with 2D animation and graphic design tools is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,750.00 per week
