Job Opening: CAD/CAM Design Engineer – Die & Mould

Company: Futura Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Ahmedabad / Chhatral (On-site)
Experience: Minimum 5 years (Die & Mould Manufacturing – Mandatory)
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of plastic injection moulds, press tools, die & mould components
• CAD modelling, detailing, and assembly drawings as per manufacturing standards
• CAM programming for CNC milling, drilling, and finishing operations
• Toolpath optimization for high-speed machining and precision finishing
• Coordination with production, CNC operators, and tool room
• Design validation, revision control, and cost/time optimization
• Supporting trials, modifications, and troubleshooting during manufacturing

Software Skills (Mandatory):

• NX / SolidWorks / Creo (any one – strong proficiency)
• Mastercam / NX CAM / PowerMill (hands-on experience)
• Good understanding of GD&T, machining allowances, tool selection

Industry Experience Required:

• Strong exposure to Die & Mould manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of mould steels, heat treatment, electrodes, EDM/Wirecut
• Experience with tight tolerances and complex tooling
