Position Title:

CAD/CAM Engineer – Pattern & Mould Design

Job Purpose:

To design and develop accurate sand-casting patterns, core boxes, and mould dies for Cylinder Liners, Air Cooled Blocks & Sleeves ensuring dimensional accuracy, minimum rejection, optimized cost, and compliance with export quality standards.

KRA (KEY RESULT AREAS):

· New Pattern Development:- Timely development of new dies

· Design Accuracy:- Error-free allowance & dimension

· Rejection Reduction:- Minimize design-based casting defects

· Lead Time Control:- Faster die preparation

· Cost Optimization:- Reduce pattern cost & modification

· Trial Success:- Improve first-time approval

· Documentation:- Proper drawing & revision control

· Design Accuracy

· Casting Rejection (Design Related)

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Software Knowledge:

· SolidWorks / AutoCAD / CATIA / NX

· Master CAM / Power mill / VISI

· CNC machining knowledge (VMC – Fanuc preferred)

Technical Knowledge:

· CI casting shrinkage standards

· Gating & riser calculation

· Core box design

· Sand casting process knowledge

· GD&T

· Export tolerance standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
