CAD–GIS Data Engineer

Responsible for converting AutoCAD (DWG/DXF) drawings into structured relational databases, extracting geometry and attributes, applying spatial logic, and enabling querying, analytics, and visualization using GIS and RDBMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Parse DWG/DXF files and extract geometry (lines, polylines, text, blocks)

Convert CAD drawings into normalized RDBMS schemas

Store spatial data in PostGIS / SQL Server Geometry / Oracle Spatial

Map CAD layers to business entities (rooms, walls, roads, utilities)

Clean, validate, and correct geometry and topology issues

Build ETL pipelines using Python, GDAL, or enterprise tools

Enable spatial queries, indexing, and performance optimization

Support visualization via GIS tools or web mapping frameworks

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
