Job Description:
Candidate should have in-depth technical knowledge in core Engine exhaust domain and hands on linear and nonlinear static (linear and nonlinear), dynamic (modal, steady-state & Transient), fatigue calculations, Heat transfer analysis.
Should have at least 8 plus years of Exhaust CAE Durability core Simulation experience.
Well versed with FEA tools like Hypermesh/ANSA, Abaqus, n-Code, FEMFAT, Nastran etc.
Skilled in optimization tools like ModeFrontier/Hyperstudy/HEEDS/Optistuct etc.
Should have contributed to CAE Method developments by presenting/publishing technical paper in various forums.
Should have measurable contribution in refining the CAE methods for Exhaust and Integration component/system/proving ground correlation/Test failures etc.
Individual contributor in delivering Engine Exhaust CAE projects (Strength, stiffness, fatigue, Durability, Vibration, Thermomechanical; component/correlations/Method development etc.) as an individual contributor/with support of team.
Execute and check the progress of the projects, and suggest alternatives whenever required to make sure the delivery milestones are met, with the appropriate quality and cost.
Leverage team competency by bringing new technology/concept to deliver Program CAE
Provide technical guidance on Exhaust CAE Durability attributes projects; establish as a "GoTO" person
Expertise in predicting the failure zone upfront and decide on the better FE modelling procedure to get more accurate CAE results.
Should be able to find out the root cause for convergence issues during analysis and mentor the team to complete complex analysis.
Interfacing with the customer on the project status and analysis reviews on closure of TGW/issues within expectation
