Café Assistant Manager

Duties:

- Assist in food preparation and service to maintain quality and efficiency

- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and professionalism

- Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the cafe area

- Support the Cafe Manager in supervising staff and ensuring smooth operations

- Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, addressing their needs promptly

- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary

- Contribute to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy

Experience:

- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a cafe or food service setting

- Knowledge of basic kitchen management practices and food handling procedures

- Familiarity with cash handling processes and POS systems is advantageous

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Previous experience in supervising or assisting in supervising staff is a plus

- A background in hospitality or food service management would be beneficial
