Café Manager

The Cafe Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of cafe operations, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and leading a motivated front-of-house team. This role sits at the intersection of hospitality, operations, and business management — ensuring the cafe runs smoothly, profitably, and in alignment with the company's brand standards and service philosophy.

  • Oversee and manage all daily cafe operations — opening and closing procedures, floor management, service flow, and team coordination across all shifts.
  • Ensure the cafe is clean, well-presented, fully stocked, and operationally ready before each service period.
  • Monitor and manage table turnover, queue management, and seating efficiency during peak periods to maximize throughput without compromising the guest experience.
  • Maintain and enforce all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for front-of-house service, bar operations, and cashiering.
  • Oversee the management of reservations, walk-ins, and special bookings — ensuring smooth handling and an organized floor at all times.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, service failures, or process inefficiencies promptly and proactively.
  • Liaise with the Kitchen/Chef team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house during service.
