Position: Cafe Attendant

Job Type: Part-time

Location: FFC Elmhurst

Required Shifts: Looking for weekday availability between 1am-8pm and weekend availability from 7am-6pm

Compensation: $15 per hour

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS

Your Role:

Welcome with a Smile: Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive
Engage & Assist: Use your strong communication skills to answer questions and assist customers with product selection, ensuring they have everything they need
Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area that reflects FFC’s commitment to superior service
Cash Handling: Manage transactions accurately, ensuring that the register reflects all sales and services
Food & Safety: Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures according to local, state, and federal health codes
Prepare Delicious Treats: Responsible for creating smoothies, food, and coffee-related beverages independently.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to keep the café running smoothly

Coachable & Eager to Learn: You’re open to feedback and eager to grow in your role
Food Safety Certification: You must obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment (at your own expense)
