Café & Farmers Market Crew Member (Part-Time)

Pay: $10–$12/hour plus tips (based on experience)

At Cloudland Coffee Company, our mission is to honor the journey of coffee from farm to cup. We are hiring a part time Café & Farmers Market Crew Members who is dependable, punctual, and comfortable with early mornings and Saturday work. We are closed Sundays, so we will rarely have the need to work on these days. This role is ideal for someone who loves coffee, enjoys engaging with customers, and wants to grow their skills in the coffee industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Café Duties

• Prepare and serve espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and specialty beverages to company standards
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and confident customer service, especially during high-volume periods
• Accurately take orders, handle payments, and follow POS procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized café throughout your shift
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings, coffee origins, allergens, and rotations
• Periodically work community coffee events
• Weigh, bag, and label roasted coffee for retail, online, and wholesale orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the roasting and packaging area

Farmers Market Duties

• This position is located at the downtown Alpharetta Farmers Market every Saturday from 7:30am-1:00pm.
• Must be ok with working outside from April - November.
• You will need to be able to lift out the equipment from the trailer and set up the stand and then at the end tear down the equipment and load it back into the trailer.
• This is a fast paced position but a lot of fun.
• You will interact with the guests visiting the market.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year food service, with preference to barista experience in a café or coffee shop
• Reliable transportation and a proven record of punctuality
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to follow established systems and procedures
• Comfortable multitasking and working independently
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
