Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) is a prestigious institute dedicated to empowering differently abled individuals. At KVTC, we provide therapeutic, educational, and vocational training opportunities that help our students build confidence, independence, and employable skills. Our vocational programs also include specialized embroidery and stitching training.
We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to support our Cafe Khudee's operations. The Manager will oversee the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing staff, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, optimizing operational procedures, and driving sales growth. To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
1- Maintenance of the Cafe:
· Ensure all café equipment is regularly maintained and operational, coordinating repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
· Oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure adherence to hygiene standards, fostering a clean and inviting atmosphere for customers.
2- Ensuring smooth run of operations of the Café:
· Monitor café performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
· Oversee inventory management, ensuring timely reordering of supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
3- Enforcing Policies & Procedures:
· Ensure that all staff comply with established policies and procedures, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
· Conduct regular training sessions to reinforce understanding of policies and procedures, fostering a consistent and high-quality service standard among all team members
4- System Improvements:
· Identify opportunities for operational improvements, implementing changes that enhance efficiency and service quality.
· Collect and analyze feedback from staff and customers to pinpoint areas for enhancement, ensuring that changes align with both operational goals and guest satisfaction
5- Financial Goals:
· Meet financial objectives by accurately forecasting operational needs and preparing the café budget, ensuring financial sustainability.
· Analyze and estimate food costs to maintain profitability while offering high-quality menu items.
6- Manage Advertising:
· Develop and implement effective advertising and marketing strategies to promote the café and engage the community.
7- Safety & Sanitary Environment:
· Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in compliance with all food handling laws and regulations, ensuring the well-being of staff and customers.
· Organize and conduct regular fire drills to ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures and safety protocols.
· Schedule and manage regular fumigation processes to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
8- Personal Appearance & Hygiene: Consistently uphold a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene to reflect the cafe's commitment to cleanliness.
9- Workplace Relations: Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and managers to maintain a collaborative and supportive kitchen environment.
Compliance with Safety Procedures: Adhere to all procedures related to fire safety, health regulations, food hygiene, and security to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
