Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS with accuracy for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipt processing
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items while adhering to food safety standards
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries professionally
• Manage food preparation tasks including basic food handling, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the café area
• Handle cash register operations with precision, ensuring accurate math calculations for retail math and cashiering tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment, including food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Support sales initiatives by upselling menu items and promoting specials to enhance guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in retail or food service environments
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation techniques
• Experience with serving, cashiering, and cash handling in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing cash registers
