Cafe Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and efficient café environment. You will assist with food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining food safety standards, all while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

• Serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate Clover POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the café area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area for guests.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or a quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Clover POS system
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
