Position Summary

The Team Café Associate is responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience in our Team Café area. This role includes preparing smoothies and café items, handling transactions, maintaining cleanliness standards, and creating a welcoming environment for members and guests. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service

  • Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Provide menu guidance and answer questions about ingredients and offerings
  • Deliver prompt and accurate service
  • Resolve minor customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
  • Represent Team85’s core values at all times

Food & Beverage Preparation

  • Prepare smoothies, shakes, and café items according to established recipes and portion standards
  • Operate blenders, refrigeration units, and café equipment safely
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all items served
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

Cash Handling & Transactions

  • Accurately process purchases using the POS system
  • Handle cash, credit card, and member account transactions responsibly
  • Maintain balanced drawer and follow end-of-shift procedures

Cleanliness & Safety

  • Maintain a clean and organized café workspace
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines
  • Monitor inventory and report low stock
  • Take initiative in keeping the café area inviting and member-ready at all times

Schedule Expectations

  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work peak club hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.92 per hour
