Café/Coffee Shop Manager – Part-Time (30 Hours/Week)

Mountain Café at Mountain Meadow Herbs is looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced Café/Coffee Shop Manager to help lead daily operations and create a welcoming experience for every customer.

Mountain Café uses fresh local ingredients along with herbal extracts to create unique baked goods, handcrafted drinks, and café favorites like Avocado Toast, Damn Ham Paninis, Breakfast Burritos, Mountain Bowls, and scratch-made coffee syrups. We are proud to offer high-quality food and drinks in a warm, fast-paced environment where teamwork and customer care are a top priority.

This is a hands-on management position ideal for someone who thrives in a busy café setting and enjoys motivating a team. The right candidate will oversee day-to-day café operations, support staff development, maintain high service and product standards, and help ensure every guest has an outstanding experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of service
• Manage staff scheduling, training, menu items, and food ordering
• Develop new menu item options for monthly specials and season options
• Implement budget strategies to optimize costs while maximizing profitability
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food industry
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance their experience
• Utilize POS systems for accurate transaction processing and sales tracking
• Collaborate with upper management
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment while working alongside other staff members and performing daily tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly
• Assist MMH customers with basic production questions and POS transactions

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the food and/or beverage industry (2 years preferred)
• Experience as a barista or in the food and/or beverage industry

• $20 +tips
