Job Summary:
The CAFM Operator is responsible for managing and coordinating maintenance activities through the CAFM system for a mobile workforce. The role ensures efficient communication between clients, internal teams, and field technicians, while maintaining accurate records and generating periodic reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
Key Responsibilities:
1. CAFM System Management
* Operate and maintain the CAFM system for logging, tracking, and closing service requests.
* Assign work orders to mobile technicians based on priority, location, and skill set.
* Monitor job status in real-time and ensure timely updates in the system.
* Ensure all job data, materials used, and completion details are accurately recorded.
2. Coordination & Dispatching
* Act as the central point of contact between customers, supervisors, and technicians.
* Dispatch technicians efficiently to multiple locations.
* Follow up on job progress and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
* Coordinate emergency and reactive maintenance requests.
3. Customer Communication
* Receive service requests via calls, emails, or app.
* Provide customers with updates on job status and estimated completion time.
* Escalate critical issues to management when required.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional communication.
4. Reporting & Documentation
* Prepare and submit:
* Daily job status reports
* Weekly performance reports
* Monthly maintenance and KPI reports
* Track technician productivity, response times, and job completion rates.
* Maintain proper documentation for audits and client reporting.
5. Team & Performance Monitoring
* Monitor technician attendance, job allocation, and productivity.
* Identify delays, inefficiencies, and recurring issues.
* Support supervisors with data-driven insights to improve operations.
6. Compliance & Quality Control
* Ensure all tasks are aligned with company procedures and HSE standards.
* Verify job completion quality through system updates and feedback.
* Maintain accurate records for inspections and audits.
Requirements:
Education:
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Facilities Management (preferred)
Experience:
* Minimum 2–4 years experience in CAFM/FM operations
* Experience in facilities management or maintenance companies in the UAE is highly preferred
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of CAFM systems (e.g., Maximo, CAFM Explorer, etc.)
* Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities
* Strong communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
* Good reporting and Excel skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
