Cake Decorator & Baker

We are seeking a Cake Decorator & Baker to join our team with a flair for creativity and artistic cake decorating combined with technical baking skills. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking but is also flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts from scratch according to established recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency and high-quality standards..
• Decorate cakes using icing, fondant, piping techniques, and other decorative elements.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Possibly of working at our weekend events.

Schedule Expectations

• Monday - Friday from 7am - 3pm with room for flexibility.
• Weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional baking or cake decorating experience preferred.
• Experience with buttercream, fondant, piping, and finishing techniques.
• Experience with tiered cakes and wedding cakes.
• Artistic eye for design and color.
• Ability to follow recipes and scale production accurately.
• Ability to commute to our commissary Lansdowne, PA (Driver's License preferred).
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (30 lbs).
