Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Cake Instructor to inspire aspiring bakers and culinary enthusiasts of all ages. In this role, you will lead engaging cake decorating and baking classes, develop comprehensive curricula, and foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative lesson plans focused on cake decorating, baking techniques, and culinary skills tailored to various age groups and skill levels
• Lead hands-on classes that cover fundamental to advanced cake decorating methods, including piping, fondant work, and flavor combinations
• Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring safety, engagement, and positive behavior among students
• Provide personalized tutoring and guidance to students during class activities to enhance learning outcomes
• Incorporate photography skills to help students document their creations and improve presentation techniques
• Adapt teaching strategies for children, preschoolers, or adult learners with diverse learning needs, including those in special education or early childhood education settings
• Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages creativity, teamwork, and confidence in baking pursuits

Experience

• NO baking experienced needed
• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning for various age groups
• Classroom management skills with experience working with children or adult learners in educational settings
• Familiarity with teaching methods for early childhood education or preschool environments is a plus
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
• Experience in theater or performing arts can enhance presentation skills during demonstrations
• Skills in sewing or artistic crafts are beneficial for detailed cake decoration projects

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
