Location – This is an onsite role that works at the Conversion and Labeling Facility in Cashton, WI. The shift/hours are Monday - Friday 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. OR Tuesday-Friday 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Bonus – This position is eligible for a 3% annual incentive bonus based on cooperative and individual performance.

Summary of Role
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting product and processing facility quality data to effectively communicate metrics and drive performance trends. This role will have an emphasis in trend analysis and control of key performance indicators including data accuracy, reporting, and continuous process improvement, while supporting facility QA and Laboratory programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Develop and communicate product and processing facility quality trends.
o Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with site Production Leadership
o Coordinate monthly metric reporting and present content including interpretation and root
cause.
o Expert on root cause analysis.
o Review functional specifications for processing compliance as needed
o Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test
coverage plan for facility commodities.
o Develop, document and maintain data, data validation, and key performance indicator
trending.
o Coordinate with Corporate QA on plant metric reporting and communicate content including
interpretation and root cause.
o Facilitate test plan/root cause reviews with cross-functional team members.
o Identify potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues
immediately to management.
o Identify, report and verify defect fixes through quality deviations.
o Support Facility technical duties as needed
o Lead Certification, Regulatory, and GFSI inspections as needed
o Designated back-up for site QA Manager
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
o Maintain confidential information with discretion.
o Contribute to system direction and challenges regarding product quality to CROPP
management.
o Train co-workers in proper processes and systems related to quality management .
o Coordinate process improvements for implementation at all Field QA Locations
o Participate in special projects as required.
o Other duties as assigned by manager, director or VP of Quality.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Bachelor’s Degree in laboratory sciences, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management,
Mathematics, Statistics or similar degree or equivalent work experience required.
o 3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
o Hands on experience working in large enterprise business systems (i.e. ERP, PLM, DOORS
etc.)
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in food industry, supply chain, manufacturing, quality,
budgeting or statistical analysis.
o Practical dairy and food manufacturing experience preferred.
o Knowledge of product quality and food safety requirements preferred.
o Ability to attain and maintain Food Safety and technical certifications (HACCP, PCQI, State
Analyst Licenses)
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, especially Excel; experience with Business
Objects and ERP preferred.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex
information and recommendations in a concise and professional manner.
o Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
o Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
o Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
Base hourly range: $29.23 - $35.43 per hour
The typical hourly wage for a new hire with little or no experience is $29.23 per hour. This hourly range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the hourly range and hiring at the maximum of the hourly range is not typical.
