Calibration Manager with auditing - Temperature Sensors

Position and Duties:

The Calibration Manager at Eustis Co Inc is responsible for the operation of the Calibration Laboratory, including, but not limited to:

Managing the day-to-day activities of the Calibration Laboratory

Performing calibrations as needed for customers as well as internal calibrations on thermocouples, RTD's and bare wire.

Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance to required standards.

Managing the laboratory equipment with respect to the maintenance, scheduled calibrations and repair or replacement of damaged or malfunctioning equipment.

The goal of this position is to manage and carry out the calibration activities in such a way as to meet the requirements of ISO 17025 in the field of thermodynamics and to satisfy the needs of the customer, regulatory authorities, or organizations providing recognition. The Laboratory/QA Manager serves as the primary representative between Eustis Company and the accreditation body.

The QA portion of this position serves as the primary representative between the company and the certification body. This position is responsible for maintaining the quality system, which includes, but is not limited to:

Ensuring quality objectives are understood and are a top priority within the organization,

The tracking of KPI data, maintaining test procedures and initiating new ones when needed,

Maintaining the internal audit schedule and conducting audits as needed.

The planning & presiding over management review meetings; making sure training is current, maintaining documentation, and providing what is needed to help satisfy the needs of the customer, regulatory authorities, or organizations providing recognition.

Meeting with yearly external auditors to ensure compliance with ISO 17025, and A2LA procedures.

Skills & Abilities: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills (written & verbal)

Ability to think outside of the box & problem solve
