California Employment Attorney – Hartford LTD & Wrongful Termination

I am looking for a California employment attorney who is familiar with Hartford Long-Term Disability (LTD) return-to-work processes and wrongful termination involving a public-sector employer.

Hartford approved a long-term disability (LTD) extension for the final three months of my medical leave, and I subsequently returned to full-time work. Despite Hartford’s approval and the continued support of my treating providers, my employer used that final three-month LTD period—and the administrative timeline associated with it—as the basis to initiate charges and ultimately seek my termination. The District’s theory disregards both the medical evidence and the insurer’s determination.
