California Psychiatrist (General Adult 24 hrs/wk)

This is NOT an in-person position. It is listed that way because we need all applicants to be currently licensed in CA at the time of application. It is exclusively telepsychiatry.

We are looking for more great people to join the team. We place high value on continuity of care. Through our platform, you can keep the same patients no matter what changes life brings you. Other companies may not guarantee scheduled patients. We pay for scheduled clinic time whether the patients show up or not. You will have a full staff on the ground (nurses, therapists, case managers, schedulers) and a secure portal to work from.

All work always done via telemedicine. You do not have to physically go to the clinic. Contract work (1099). This is permanent, ongoing work.

Telepsychiatrist Overview:

American Telepsychiatrists (http://www.atpsnetwork.com) is seeking one psychiatrist to work 24 hrs/wk. This is general adult outpatient county severely mentally ill patients at a county clinic.

Hours are between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday-Friday. No evening or weekend work or on-call is required or available.

Physically residing within the state of California is NOT required, but it is preferred. You must reside within the United States.

Psychiatrist Requirements:

• At the time of application, you must hold a current, active, and unrestricted MD/DO license in the state of CA
• Must have a current DEA that is registrable to an address in CA
• Must be Board Certified or eligible at the time of applying
• Must have NOT opted out of seeing Medicare patients in CA
• Must have no history of malpractice or hits on the National Database
• Must have County Mental Health Center experience
• Must not have been presented as an applicant to Fresno County Department of behavioral health in the past twenty-four months
• Must be able and willing to prescribe Schedule II medications
• Must speak fluent English
• Spanish is a Plus (as are other languages)
