Job Title Call Center Administrative Clerk

Reports to Call Center Manager

Classification Hourly

Job Purpose

To handle checking statuses and providing updated mailing addresses for violation mail returned by the post office. Assist Call Center Manager with duties within the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answers email requests from Call Center leads and provides USPS address parameters.
  • Compiles weekly updates on mail activities to be available to management for a review
  • Monitor & Assist with return mail sorting, opening, updating & scanning daily.
  • Compiles weekly updates on mail activities to be available to management for a review.
  • Provides customer support in completing credit card transactions for violation payments by mail daily.
  • Maintain & secure and process credit card payments, keeping them locked up at all times.
  • Make sure credit card payments beyond six months old are shredded.
  • Checks work e-mail and other company communication channels daily.
  • Scan Georgia documents daily.
  • Respond to correspondence via written communication from all departments.
  • Assist with reports weekly.
  • Answers email requests from Call Center leads and provides USPS address parameters.
  • Updates return mail user manuals as needed.
  • Maintains rental companies’ correspondence files in date order.
  • Notify Call Center Manager of escalated issues in a timely manner.
  • Process Georgia registration holds & approvals.
  • Assist in training for Georgia registration holds process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and or in the absence of the call center Manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate’s or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of data processing experience.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc; Windows Desktop).
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accurate typing skills.

Working Conditions

The Return Mail Clerk will spend long hours sitting and working on a computer. May also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time for up to 30lbs.
