Call Center Agent – Medical

As a Call Center Agent – Medical, you will play a key role in shaping the patient experience. You'll be the first point of contact for patients across our 16+ office locations and will help guide them to the care they need with empathy, precision, and professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Promptly answer incoming calls from patients for all clinic locations with courtesy and professionalism
• Triage clinical calls by asking the right questions and accurately documenting symptoms and concerns
• Uncover the true reason for the call through branching questions and active listening
• Schedule appointments based on physician availability, patient symptoms, and established protocols
• Accurately document patient requests and call details in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Maintain efficient call control to meet individual and team call volume goals
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure seamless patient service and workflow coordination
• Stay up to date on 16+ site protocols and over 50 provider schedules to deliver accurate information
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Call Center Manager

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (required
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or high-volume call center environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Familiarity with AthenaOne EMR system (preferred)
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a strong work ethic

• This role requires answering 75–80+ calls per day and 375–400+ per week. Have you handled a similar volume in a previous role?

• Are you able to work a part-time schedule from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm?
