Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-driven individual who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who can balance efficiency with warmth, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the high standards of Alessi Bakeries. Fully on-site, 7 days a week full and part time hours available
Duties
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls daily
- Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions and assisting with requests
- Take and process orders for deli, catering, cakes, and other bakery offerings
- Accurately enter orders into the Toast POS system
- Learn and utilize the Toast Catering Module
- Provide guests with accurate product and service information
- Troubleshoot and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and patience
- Escalate or direct calls to the appropriate department manager when needed
- Follow established processes and systems for handling orders and inquiries
Requirements
- Strong hospitality mindset with a passion for guest service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and difficult conversations (“thick skin”)
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills and technical proficiency
- Previous phone or call center experience preferred
- Willingness to learn product knowledge (training provided)
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- High level of punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required
Language: Bilingual preferred
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
