Call Center Legal

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Call Center Legal professional to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our legal department and clients, providing expert legal support and ensuring efficient communication. Your responsibilities will include handling legal inquiries, managing case documentation, conducting research across various legal areas, and supporting the administrative functions of the law office. Duties

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing clear and accurate legal information within scope of knowledge.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage, and other case management systems across diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and immigration law.
  • Review and organize legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and case files using document management systems.
  • Assist with legal drafting by preparing correspondence, memos, summaries, and other documentation with precision and clarity.
  • Support litigation processes through document review, proofreading, transcription, and data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage case files efficiently by filing documents electronically or physically while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to record-keeping protocols.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars for attorneys or paralegals, and coordinating meetings or hearings.
  • Perform research on legal precedents and regulations related to estate planning, land use, environmental issues, tribal regulations, patent claims or securities compliance as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and organizational skills to ensure excellent client service and internal communication flow.

Experience

  • Proven paralegal experience or legal administrative experience in a busy law office environment.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law and immigration law.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with Clio or PCLaw is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents; proofreading accuracy is essential.
  • Experience using document management systems like iManage or similar platforms for efficient file handling.
  • Ability to perform thorough research on complex legal issues related to litigation or regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated clerical skills including data entry, filing (digital or physical), transcription and general office support tasks.
  • Knowledge of project management principles applicable within a legal setting; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette; capable of interviewing clients or witnesses when necessary. Pay: $52,300.00 - $59,000.00 per year
