Job Overview

Ready-Contractors, a respected leader in the construction industry serving communities since 1969, is seeking a professional and articulate Call Centre Operator to join our team. Renowned for our commitment to quality workmanship and reliable service, we are looking for an individual who can be the first point of contact for our valued clients. This is a Full-Time position based in our office in Bronx, New York. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction by managing client communications effectively and efficiently. The offered salary for this role is between $90,000 and $125,450 USD per annum, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling all inbound calls and email enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate information about our range of construction services, project timelines, and company policies.
  • Schedule appointments, service calls, and consultations for our technical and sales teams.
  • Document all customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints accurately within our CRM system.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints promptly or escalate them to the appropriate department to ensure a swift resolution.
  • Perform outbound calls for appointment confirmations, client follow-ups, and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain an organised workflow to manage multiple enquiries and tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in a customer service or call centre role is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computers, including CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience within the construction or a related trade industry would be a significant advantage but is not required.
