CALL CENTER/FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT
Busy Primary Care Clinic with 7 providers.

Call Center: Responsible for routing and/or processing calls to/from the Call Center, scheduling/rescheduling patient appointments, verifying accurate patient demographic information, insurance coverage and reason for appointment. Calling patients off appointment Tickler lists to schedule appointments.
Front Desk: Responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in/out, obtaining identifying patient information for insurance purposes, collecting payments, assisting with patient/visitor patient flow, and patient follow-up visits.
Data Entry: Entering patient demographic and Insurance information accurately into electronic health records.
Chart Records: Document verification/scanning and routing into appropriate electronic chart folders.
Requirements: Candidate must possess superior customer service skills and a keen eye for details. Knowledge of insurance eligibility and benefits is critical in this position. Being a true team player is equally important as the ability to work independently. The ability to multi-task will allow the candidate to work effectively in this position.

SUMMARY
Full time position working the in the Call Center in a busy primary care clinic, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Autumn Road Family Practice is looking for someone with several years of experience in scheduling appointments, medical records, data entry, and excellent customer service skills. The position requires multi-tasking abilities and works well as part of a team. The candidate will cross-train in the Front Office to cover when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
a. Experience with computer data entry, insurance eligibility and verification, and patient balance and copay collection.
b. Must understand primary, secondary and tertiary insurance placements.
c. Must be able to communicate clearly to aid patients through the check-in/out process.
d. Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must, and very crucial in this position.
e. Experience working in a medical based platform in a medical office setting.
f. Adherence to laws and best practices regarding HIPAA, personal health information etc.
SKILLS:
a. Experience working in Athena (is a plus, but not a requirement)
b. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and EHR software
c. Proficiency in English
d. Ability to multi-task
e. Results-driven
f. High degree of attention to detail, dependability and trustworthiness
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
a. High School Diploma
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
