ABOUT US:

We are a fun, active family seeking a nurturing and engaging nanny for our almost 2-year-old son from April through early June, and then for all three of our boys (ages 2, 4, and 6) throughout the summer until approximately August 20th. In late August, all three children will transition to school, after-school care, and full-day daycare.

Our boys are energetic, sweet, and love to play! At home, they enjoy spending time in the basement playing with cars, trucks, dinosaurs, and doing crafts. They also love being outside — whether it’s playing sports in the backyard, digging in the sandbox, or visiting local parks and playgrounds.

On weekends, we enjoy exploring together as a family. Some of our favorite outings include visiting museums, spending time at parks, going to the zoo, and exploring downtown Pittsburgh.

We are looking for someone who is playful, patient, and enjoys engaging with active children both indoors and outdoors. We truly appreciate you taking the time to learn about our family and look forward to finding a wonderful fit for this special season with our boys!

IDEAL NANNY:

We are seeking a caring, nurturing caregiver who is truly passionate about early childhood development. Prior experience working with young children is required, and an educational background in early childhood development is strongly preferred.

Our ideal nanny is responsible, punctual, and has strong communication skills — both with children and with parents. We value someone who is fun, creative, positive, and able to engage our children in meaningful play and age-appropriate activities.

Flexibility is important, as the role will shift seasonally — caring for one child during certain months and all three children during school breaks and summer. We’re looking for someone who can confidently and smoothly adapt to those changes while maintaining a warm, supportive environment.

DAILY TASKS:

We are looking for a caregiver who is comfortable with typical nanny responsibilities, including meeting the children’s daily needs and planning age-appropriate, play-based learning activities such as crafts and preschool-focused play.

Responsibilities also include keeping children’s areas tidy, managing children’s laundry and dishes as needed, and supporting social development through playgroups and outings. We value someone who creates a safe, organized, and engaging environment for our children.
