Cambridge English Teacher (Gr.2 & 3)

Job Description :

ABODE School is looking for a passionate and experienced Cambridge English Teacher to teach Grades 2 and 3. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, an understanding of the Cambridge Primary curriculum, and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that foster a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary English framework.
• Develop and implement engaging learning activities to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Integrate phonics, grammar, comprehension, and creative writing into daily lessons.
• Assess students regularly through formative and summative assessments as per Cambridge guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and share feedback with parents during meetings.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects and co-curricular activities.
• Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development sessions.
• Ensure all teaching practices align with the school’s vision, values, and Cambridge assessment standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in English / Education / related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in Cambridge or international curriculum.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning abilities.
• Passionate about teaching young learners and fostering creativity.
