Job Summary:

The Cameraman & Editor is a dual-role media professional responsible for both capturing high-quality video content and editing it into polished final products. This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, camera operation, and post-production editing. It is ideal for productions with small crews, digital media companies, or freelance content creators.

Key Responsibilities:

As Cameraman / Camera Operator:

• Operate cameras to capture video footage for a wide range of media (e.g., interviews, events, commercials, documentaries, social content).
• Set up and manage camera equipment, lighting, and sound as needed.
• Frame, compose, and execute smooth camera movements based on shot lists or direction.
• Ensure proper focus, exposure, white balance, and other technical aspects.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to achieve the desired visual style.
• Maintain and care for all camera-related equipment.

As Video Editor:

• Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging content using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, motion graphics, text, transitions, and color correction/grading as required.
• Maintain continuity and narrative flow in the final cut.
• Export deliverables in various formats and resolutions for web, broadcast, or social media.
• Organize and archive video assets and project files.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of camera operations and cinematography.
• Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Good sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Basic knowledge of lighting and sound recording.
• Creative and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in video production and editing (1+ years preferred).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment.
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing camera work and edited videos.
• Knowledge of social media formats and platform-specific content editing (for digital media roles).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Erode, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
