York's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking to recruit a CAMHS Clinician to join us either full time or part time.
The team is in a position to be able to help staff develop the knowledge and experience within CAMHS and offer additional training as appropriate to role but are keen to recruit an individual who has experience to bring along with them.
Please note this post require candidates to have a professional registration as a Child, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.
Nursing candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework at the time of applying.

The successful candidate will join a large multi-disciplinary team in providing assessment and intervention to families here in York. You will become a Key Worker in co-ordinating care, ensuring that safe and effective care is provided, whilst providing evidence based interventions. Qualifications in CBT, SFP and DBT are desirable for this role but we are in a position to provide training and supervision to develop these skills.
If you enjoy working within an experienced and inclusive team who are passionate about supporting with children and young people and their families/carers, and enjoy a challenge and have a flexible approach, then we would like to hear from you. You will need to be confident in your own clinical decision-making skills. You will work with a range of professionals from a variety of different agencies including social care, acute care and a range of community and voluntary sector partners.
