CAMO Engineer

Job purpose

The CAMO Engineer will ensure that all maintenance is carried out by suitably authorized maintenance organization(s), in accordance with the relevant approved Aircraft Maintenance data and following the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP), on time and to an approved standard. He will act to ensure that continuous airworthiness and maintenance engineering activities as a part of the CAMO team.


Core Responsibility Areas

  • Ensuring modifications and repairs (changes) are carried out to an approved standard.
  • Ensuring all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved AMP and released in accordance with the CAME.
  • Ensuring all applicable airworthiness directives and the mandatory service Bulletins, are applied.
  • Ensuring that the aircraft is taken to an appropriately accepted maintenance organization whenever necessary
  • Ensuring all known defects are rectified in accordance with approved aircraft maintenance data.
  • Coordination of scheduled maintenance, the application of airworthiness directives, service bulletins and the replacement of service life limited parts and component inspections to ensure work is carried out properly.
  • Manage and declare all continuing airworthiness records.
  • Ensuring the mass and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft.
  • Manage the relationship between Maintenance Organization and Airbus Saudi Ltd-CAMO.
  • Application and review of the continuing airworthiness management arrangement(s) with the aircraft´s Operator /Authority (as applicable).
  • Service Bulletin non-mandatory analysis and policy for customer acceptance.
  • Analysis and communication of AOT, AOL, COM, SIL from factory.
  • Analysis of CCB (Configuration Control Board).
  • Report of cancellations, and technical delay.
  • Airworthiness Limitations Control
  • Design and implementation of all work orders for its application on the fleet, from AMP Maintenance Significant Items, engineering convenience, repair orders, programed hard/soft time changes, General visual inspections, Lubrications, Functional Checks, Operational checks, Restoration, Servicing / A and multiply / C and multiply checks.
  • Ensuring to follow the indications of reporting and feedback of the Engine Condition Trend Monitoring
  • Aircraft manuals and AMP review with AMTAC support.
  • Damage chart update and control.
  • Collect the Aircraft technical record for process purpose and ensuring the storage in safe place and guarded.
  • Ensuring the Hard time components installed and Stored 22. Ensuring the software of the component installed is updated.
  • Process and store all maintenance data collected
  • Produce the reliability document of the aircraft and components.
  • Supervision of Hold Item List (HIL) from MEL and Pending item list (PIL) from Non MEL defects.
  • Reporting any occurrences to the Type Certificate Holder and the Certification´s Authorities. This includes both mandatory occurrences and occurrences related to maintenance findings, which fall outside the mandatory scheme.


Key Performance Indicators

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge and minimum 1 years of experience in aeronautical company.
  • Strong Knowledge of regulations EASA, FAA, GACA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145
