Camp Counselor

Overview

Are you ready to be the ultimate hero of summer fun? We’re looking for a few Awesome Camp Counselors to join our Adventure Camp for kids ages 5-12! If you’re bursting with energy, love the outdoors, and have a knack for turning every moment into an epic adventure, this is your chance to shine. You’ll inspire young explorers, lead thrilling activities, and create memories that last a lifetime—all while having a blast yourself! Camp runs May 26th thru August 7th.

Responsibilities

• Adventure Leader: Guide campers through a whirlwind of fun, including hiking, scavenger hunts, nature crafts, team challenges, and more—bringing creativity and excitement to every activity.
• Camper Cheerleader: Build confidence and spark joy in kids by being their biggest supporter, helping them try new things, and celebrating their victories (big or small).
• Safety Superhero: Keep safety first by following camp rules, watching out for your crew, and handling bumps or scrapes with care and calmness.
• Team Player: Work alongside fellow counselors and the Camp Director to keep the good vibes flowing, pitch in where needed, and make every day a win.
• Fun Factory: Bring your silly side—tell stories, lead songs, or invent games to keep campers laughing and engaged from sunrise to pickup time.
• Parent Pal: Chat with parents during drop-off or pick-up, sharing highlights and reassuring them their kids are in great hands.

Qualifications

• Experience: Some experience with kids (camp, babysitting, coaching, or volunteering) is awesome; a love for working with 5-12-year-olds is a must!
• Skills:
• High energy and a positive, can-do spirit.
• Ability to think on your feet and roll with the punches.
• Comfortable leading groups and being loud when it counts!
• Bonus points if you know cool skills (like knot-tying, playing the guitar or the best tag games around).
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid are a big plus (or attend our training)
• Physical Stamina: Ready to run, jump, and play outside all day—rain or shine!
• Background: Must pass a background check (because safety rocks).

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
