As a Camp Counselor, you will lead engaging activities, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and create memorable moments for campers of all ages. Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage groups of children in various camp activities, including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor adventures
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by implementing proper behavior management and emergency procedures
• Facilitate positive interactions among campers, promoting teamwork, respect, and inclusivity
• Assist with daily camp setup, organization of materials, and cleanup to maintain a smooth operation

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp programs is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards working with diverse groups of children
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods during activities
• Passion for mentoring youth and creating a fun, safe camp environment
