Camp Director

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Camp Director to lead and oversee a vibrant summer camp program. Duties

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily camp activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development.
• Lead and motivate camp staff through effective training, clear communication, and ongoing support.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by implementing rigorous safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Manage camper enrollment, attendance records, and parent communications to maintain a smooth operation.
• Foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and encourages positive behavior management.
• Coordinate special events, performances, or outings such as sports tournaments or theatrical productions.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing requirements, health regulations, and organizational policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare, education, or camp management with a strong background in working with children.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and childhood development principles.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or Christian counseling are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and engagement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for working with children through activities such as sports coaching, theater arts, babysitting, or tutoring.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with parents, staff, and community partners.
