We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Camp Management In-charge to oversee the operations of all our labor accommodations. This is a strategic, office-based role with a key difference: you will be required to conduct regular, unannounced visits to all camp locations to inspect facilities and evaluate the performance of Camp Bosses. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can ensure compliance, maintain welfare standards, and manage a multicultural workforce from a macro level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Oversight & Inspection (Field Visits)
- Conduct frequent and random inspections of all camp facilities (accommodation, kitchens, dining halls, etc…) to ensure they meet company and government standards.
- Verify that Camp Bosses are maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety on a daily basis.
- Identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, or pest control problems during visits and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
2. Team Management (Camp Boss Supervision)
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate the performance of all Camp Bosses across various locations.
- Ensure Camp Bosses are accurately maintaining resident records, attendance, and incident reports.
- Mentor Camp Bosses on conflict resolution and ensure they are handling worker grievances fairly and promptly.
3. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all camps comply with civil defense, municipality, and labor camp regulations.
- Verify that firefighting equipment, emergency exits, and safety signage are properly maintained and inspected by the camp staff.
4. Administration & Reporting
- Maintain a master overview of occupancy levels, resident demographics, and camp capacity across all locations.
- Review and verify the daily, weekly, and monthly reports submitted by Camp Bosses regarding camp operations, incidents, and utility consumption.
- Report critical issues, disciplinary cases, or major incidents to senior management with recommended solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Diploma in Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in labor camp management in the UAE/GCC, with a proven track record of managing multiple sites.
- Language: Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). Knowledge of other Asian languages is a strong advantage for communicating with the workforce.
- Driving License: Valid UAE driving license is mandatory (must be able to travel between camps).
