ABBAS SALEM LABOUR SUPPLY L.L.C hiring for Camp Boss, who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the labor camp, ensuring that accommodation, dining, and recreational facilities are well-maintained, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Management: Oversee all daily operations, ensuring accommodation, dining, and recreational areas are clean, functional, and well-maintained. Manage and schedule all repairs, cleaning, and pest control services.
- Worker Welfare & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for residents, promptly addressing concerns and resolving issues. Enforce camp rules, assist with worker inductions, and ensure a supportive and disciplined living environment.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all local health, safety, and fire regulations. Conduct regular inspections, maintain safety records, and act as the first point of contact during emergencies.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Monitor and manage inventory of camp supplies, cleaning materials, and PPE stock. Coordinate with suppliers and maintain accurate records for cost control.
- Coordination: Work closely with the Accommodation Manager, HR, and Site Supervisors on worker logistics, check-ins/check-outs, and the coordination of essential services like catering, laundry, and transportation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in camp management, facilities administration, or a similar operational role.
- Strong knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and compliance procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage worker welfare and liaise with various teams.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
