Camp Office Assistant

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pre-camp administrative tasks
  • Assist with pre-camp family outreach and engagement including calling/emailing families, collecting paperwork, and serving as a primary point of reference for questions.
  • Manage weekly administrative tasks during camp, including preparing staff and bus binders, tracking and entering daily attendance, updating camper paperwork, etc.
  • Reach out to families daily regarding absent campers.
  • Prepare group schedules and update as changes occur
  • Prepare visual schedules for camp groups
  • Responsible for answering the site phone and managing camp emails and responding directly to questions from families or directing them to the appropriate source.
  • Support social media for camps with capturing daily photos and stories from camp, upcoming events, and other important information.
  • Create the camp weekly newsletter in coordination with the Camp Directors
  • Process supply orders through Director of C&Y as needed throughout the summer
  • Support planning and logistics of special events each week with camp leadership
  • Participate in in-service trainings throughout the summer
  • Complete additional duties assigned by supervisor
  • Serve as a flexible, dependable, friendly, and cooperative member of the team
  • Maintain professional appearance and attire provided by Hale

Essential Functions:

  • Observe, listen to, evaluate and act upon safety concerns related to program
  • Appropriately address patron issues in person on the phone, and through email.
  • Participate in facility upkeep and maintenance at program areas
  • Complete all required records and reports in a timely manner

Hourly Rate Range: $17-$19 per hour
40 hours per week; Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm (in-person)
Training and pre camp hours to be scheduled with supervisor
Availability for the role: June-August 2026

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
