Camp Site Director

What You'll Do:

Palatine Park District is hiring Camp Site Directors to oversee day camp sites across Palatine. Camp Site Directors will supervise a camp site with 5-10 camp staff and 25-70 campers. Site Directors help plan daily activities, communicate with parents and supervisors and make sure everything is running smoothly. No nights or weekends are required!

Site Directors are needed for Kids Camp (children entering kindergarten and first grade) and Day Camp (children entering second to sixth grade). This is a great summer job for teachers!

What We're Looking For:

• Must be 19+ years old or in college or beyond
• Enjoy working with children
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Leadership abilities
• Availability to work all weeks of camp

The training starts at the end of May and camp runs from June until the beginning of August. The pay range is $19 -20 an hour depending on experience.
