Campus Administrative Assistant-En Espanol

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Campus Administrative Assistant is responsible to perform a variety of administrative staff support duties for a specific pastor, which requires a range of skills and knowledge of ministry goals and organizational procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administrative Assistant to En Español Campus Pastor and En Español Campus Directors & Residents
  • En Español communication and organization of ministry, events, registrations
  • Editing, translating, and proofreading ministry documents and materials in Spanish
  • Database entry to keep En Español Campus teams, participants, leaders & groups accurate
  • Oversee and upload social media content to the different platforms
  • New guest follow-up calls
  • Attend Production Meetings relevant to ministry alignment.

General A Team Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings and events, room set-up, food, etc
  • Oversee expense reimbursement in Blackbaud and prepare deposits for ministry areas
  • Edit and generate correspondence as needed
  • Maintain supervisor’s calendar as needed or requested in Outlook
  • Maintain accurate and current records in Rock and other databases
  • Reserve room and resources Rock
  • Arrange and coordinate travel arrangements if needed
  • Support Office Manager as needed (admin team, rotating phone duty, special projects, training, clear communication with front desk in times of absence)
  • Attend required meetings
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Communicate the various aspects of each service to all parties involved

  • Has high proficiency in editing, translating, proofreading ministry documents and materials in English and Spanish
  • Has excellent communication / customer service skills and ability to interface with the Chase Oaks Staff in English and Spanish
  • Has ability to deal with non-routine matters, such as special projects

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

  • Minimum 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EDUCATION DESIRED

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency; college degree preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • There are no supervisory responsibilities with this role.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone. The ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding Chase Oaks ministries is also required. High attention to customer service.
  • High proficiency in English and Spanish

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, and email
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    Data Entry skill & experience
  • Familiarity with Databases
