Campus Enrollment/Admissions Coordinator

NHU-Riyadh is the Saudi branch campus of the University of New Haven, a private, nonprofit university founded in 1920 in Connecticut, USA. Launching in Fall 2026, NHU-Riyadh will bring an American university experience to Riyadh through the same accreditation, faculty standards, and career-focused educational approach that define the University of New Haven. The University’s academic programs are grounded in a long-standing commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary, project-based learning.

NHU-Riyadh is being established to deliver academically rigorous, industry-aligned education that supports Saudi Arabia’s evolving workforce needs.

The Campus Enrollment/Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for the overall recruitment of graduate and undergraduate prospective students to the University’s Riyadh Campus, including responsibility for reviewing and evaluating applications for admission. Working closely with the Connecticut, USA based recruitment and marketing teams is essential.

You will:

  • Assist in the identification, recruitment and enrollment of international and domestic students to the Riyadh Campus.
  • Visit secondary schools, community colleges, ESL programs and other institutions or programs in the Kingdom and internationally.
  • Represent the NHU-Riyadh at college fairs and college night programs domestically and internationally.
  • Responsible for the management of recruitment agents abroad, using analytics and reporting to identify areas of strength or concern, and evaluating agents in support of the university’s recruitment goals
  • Provide admission counseling to prospective students and responsible for daily communication with prospective students in person, via telephone, text or email.
  • Responsible for carrying out aspects of the admission and recruitment process including, but not limited to, planning and executing recruitment travel.
  • Coordinate time-sensitive application workflow and process international applications, including the evaluation of candidates for admission by utilizing university guidelines to determine admissibility of students and ensuring that accepted students receive appropriate communication including visa processing.
  • Responsible for engaging with individuals and groups to counsel prospective students, parents and guidance professionals throughout the college application and selection process.
  • Other duties as assigned and necessary in order to meet the mission of the University and the school’s enrollment goals.

You need:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to represent the NHU-Riyadh in a variety of situations and be able to competently interact with a diverse population of prospective students, faculty and staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • High level of technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite of products required
  • Ability to travel extensively, both domestic and international travel, on behalf of the University representing the school at various recruitment events including college fairs, high school visits, and regional informational sessions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required for the travel component of the position.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including evening and weekends, as needed.
  • Experience in outreach and appropriate follow-up to recruit students; ability to develop and implement new strategies to attract and retain qualified students is required. .
  • Basic understanding of the management of international culture and diverse educational backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of University policy and protocols related to enrollment activities; ability to explain and effectively counsel students on these policies and protocols.

Compensation, which includes salary and any potential allowances, will be established in accordance with Saudi Arabian compensation framework in conjunction with the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and position.

Any successful candidate for these roles will be processed, onboarded, and deployed to Riyadh through an outsourcing human resources company contracted by the University of New Haven specifically for this process. All academic duties will be supervised by New Haven University's administrative staff. Successful candidates will be required to obtain, and appropriately maintain, a Saudi Arabia Visa and related Work Authorizations through the contracted human resources outsourcing company.
